Antalya Airport taxi fares: what the meter will say

Lara
€20–30≈£17–26
Belek
€35–50≈£30–43
Side
€65–85≈£56–73
Alanya
€125–150≈£110–130

Prices checked 8 October 2026. Taxi fares are metered estimates for daytime; night tariff is higher. Private transfer prices are the typical range for a sedan (1–3 people) from the main booking platforms.

Taxis at Antalya Airport run on the meter. There is no fixed airport tariff, so what you pay depends on distance and traffic rather than on a price list. The table below gives the typical daytime range for each resort next to what a pre-booked car costs for the same trip — because past about 50 km the two stop being comparable.

Where the taxi is the wrong choice

Read the last column and the pattern is hard to miss. For the short runs east of the airport — Lara, Kundu, Antalya city, Konyaaltı, Kadriye — the meter and a booked car come to roughly the same money, and the taxi saves you arranging anything in advance. Belek is a few euros more.

From Kemer onwards the two separate. Kemer and Side are about 40–50% more by meter; Alanya is close to double; Fethiye, Kalkan and Kaş are three to four hour drives where the difference runs to a hundred euros or more. On those routes a pre-booked transfer is not only cheaper but fixed in advance, which matters when the meter is the only thing you can watch for three hours.

One honest caveat: our taxi figures are estimates for a daytime meter, not quotes. Traffic through Antalya, a night arrival or a detour to a villa up a hill will all push them up. Use them to judge whether a price you are quoted is in the right range, not as a number to argue with a driver about.

How the rank works

Both terminals have a taxi rank directly outside arrivals, and there is no need to book: cars are waiting at every hour a flight lands. Take the next car in the queue, check that the meter is switched on, and keep your luggage receipt if the driver loads the boot.

What to avoid is the hall, not the rank. Anyone approaching you inside the terminal with an offer of a cheap ride is not a metered taxi, and the price is whatever is agreed afterwards. If you would rather have the price settled before you land, that is an argument for a booked transfer, not for an informal deal at the door.

Taxis at Dalaman and Gazipaşa

Dalaman serves Fethiye, Ölüdeniz, Göcek, Dalyan, Kalkan and Kaş. Fares in Muğla province run a little higher than in Antalya, and the same rule applies: short hops are fine, long ones are not.

Gazipaşa-Alanya is small and close to its resorts, which is the one place a taxi wins outright — the ride into Gazipaşa itself is cheaper than any booked car.

Frequently asked questions

How much is a taxi from Antalya Airport to Belek?

Around €35–50 on the meter in the daytime, for the car rather than per person. The drive is 35 km and takes about 35 min. A pre-booked private car for the same trip is typically €30–45.

How much is a taxi from Antalya Airport to Side?

Around €65–85 on the meter in the daytime, for the car rather than per person. The drive is 65 km and takes about 1 h 10 min. A pre-booked private car for the same trip is typically €40–60.

How much is a taxi from Antalya Airport to Kemer?

Around €55–75 on the meter in the daytime, for the car rather than per person. The drive is 55 km and takes about 1 h. A pre-booked private car for the same trip is typically €40–55.

How much is a taxi from Antalya Airport to Alanya?

Around €125–150 on the meter in the daytime, for the car rather than per person. The drive is 125 km and takes about 2 h 10 min. A pre-booked private car for the same trip is typically €60–85.

Are taxis at Antalya Airport metered?

Yes. Cars queue at the rank outside arrivals and run on the meter; there is no fixed airport tariff, so the fare depends on distance and traffic. Ask for the meter ("taksimetre") to be switched on before you set off, and agree nothing else. If a driver offers a flat price away from the rank, you have no way of checking it.

Is the fare per person or per car?

Per car. A taxi fare covers up to four passengers, so for a family the meter often beats a shared shuttle, which charges per person. Larger groups need a minibus, which is a different price.

Is a taxi cheaper than a pre-booked transfer?

It depends entirely on distance. Up to about 30 km — Lara, Kundu, Antalya city, Konyaaltı, Kadriye — the two cost roughly the same and a taxi saves you the booking. Beyond that the gap grows quickly: Kemer and Side cost about 40–50% more on the meter, Alanya close to double. See the table above.

Can I pay by card?

Most airport taxis take cards, but not all, and a card machine can be "broken" at the end of a long day. Carry enough lira for the fare as a fallback. Fares are charged in lira; the euro figures here are a guide.

Is there a night tariff?

Fares are higher at night than during the day. The exact surcharge is set by the local authority and changes, so treat the daytime ranges above as a floor for late arrivals rather than a quote.

What about the trip back to the airport?

A taxi ordered from your hotel costs about the same as the ride out, sometimes a little less without airport waiting time. For an early flight most hotels will book one the night before, and a pre-booked transfer can be scheduled to the minute.
