Mahmutlar is the closest big resort to Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport (GZP): about 30 km and 30 minutes. From Antalya Airport the same trip is around 135 km and 2 hours 20 minutes, so for Mahmutlar GZP is the obvious choice when flights allow.

The route
The car takes the D400 coast road west from the airport, through the Gazipaşa area and past banana plantations, with the sea on your left for much of the way. Mahmutlar is the first large built-up area you reach, before Kestel and Alanya.
Where the hotels are
Mahmutlar stretches along the coast between the D400 and the beach, with rows of apartment blocks on the slopes above. Most accommodation is flats rather than hotels, so there is often no reception: send the driver the exact address, a map pin and a phone number in advance.
Tips for this transfer
GZP has far fewer flights than Antalya, mostly seasonal plus domestic flights from Istanbul and Ankara, so compare both airports when booking.
