Kızılağaç and Kızılot are the quiet resort villages east of Manavgat, about 85 km and 90 minutes from Antalya Airport. They are a little beyond Side, so allow an extra 20 minutes compared with the old town.

The route

The car follows the D400 east past Belek, Serik and the Side junction, then through Manavgat, crossing the river on the main road. A few kilometres east of the town the resorts of Kızılağaç appear on the coast side, with Kızılot a little further on. The Manavgat stretch is the slowest part, especially on market days.

Where the hotels are

The hotels are mostly large, spacious resorts between the D400 and long sand and shingle beaches, with fewer shops and restaurants outside than in Side. Kızılağaç comes first, Kızılot a few minutes later; the hotel name matters more than the village, so give the driver the exact one.

Fairly: Side old town is roughly 20 to 25 minutes west by car, and dolmuş minibuses run along the main road via Manavgat.

Is Gazipaşa airport an option for Kızılağaç?

Not really. Antalya is much closer and has far more flights; Gazipaşa-Alanya only makes sense for places east of Alanya.
