Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport (GZP) is only about 40 km from Alanya centre, around 40 minutes by car. Compared with the two hours or more from Antalya Airport, it is by far the quickest way into Alanya, if your airline flies there.

The route
From the airport the car joins the D400 coast road heading west, past the Gazipaşa area and long stretches of banana plantations and greenhouses. It then runs through Mahmutlar, Kestel and Oba before entering Alanya along the seafront towards the castle hill.
Where the hotels are
Alanya centre, Cleopatra beach and the harbour are all around 40 minutes away. Mahmutlar and Kestel, on the way in, are 10 to 15 minutes closer. Many flats in Alanya have no reception, so give the driver a phone number and a map pin for the building.
