The route

The route follows the Fethiye transfer through the Göcek tunnel, then skirts Fethiye town and climbs over the hill through Ovacık and Hisarönü before dropping down the steep, winding road to the Ölüdeniz seafront.

Where the hotels are

Ölüdeniz has hotels along the beach promenade and on the slopes behind it. Hisarönü and Ovacık, 3 to 5 km uphill, have most of the apartments, bars and restaurants. Tell the driver which one; it changes the drop-off by 10 minutes.

Tips for this transfer

Ölüdeniz is a pre-booked-transfer resort: taxis from the airport are expensive and the shuttle stops at many hotels on the hill. The last stretch is steep and twisty, so sit in the front if you get car sick.
