Gazipaşa-Alanya is the small airport east of Alanya: Mahmutlar is half an hour away and Alanya centre about 40 minutes, against two hours or more from Antalya. It has fewer flights, mostly in season, so it is worth checking first if you are staying in or around Alanya.

Taxi, private transfer or bus?
Taxi: metered taxis wait outside the terminal. For Gazipaşa, Mahmutlar and Alanya the fare is reasonable; for Konaklı and beyond a booked car is usually cheaper.
Pre-booked private transfer: fixed price, a driver waiting with a name board and child seats on request. Useful for late arrivals, families and groups.
Airport bus: buses run to Alanya, usually timed to arrivals, and are the cheapest option if you are staying in the centre.

The airport (IATA: GZP) lies on the coast about 7 km from the town of Gazipaşa and about 40 km east of Alanya, next to the D400 coast road. It has a small terminal with domestic flights from Istanbul and Ankara and seasonal international flights. Should I fly into Gazipaşa or Antalya for Alanya?
If your airline flies to Gazipaşa, it saves well over an hour: Antalya Airport is about 125 km and 2 to 2.5 hours from Alanya. Antalya has far more flights and is often cheaper, so compare the total journey, not just the fare.
Is there a bus from Gazipaşa Airport to Alanya?
Airport buses run to Alanya, usually timed to flight arrivals, and cost much less than a taxi. Taxis wait outside the small terminal; for late arrivals, groups and resorts west of Alanya a pre-booked car is usually the easier option.
Which resorts are closer to Antalya Airport instead?
Side, Manavgat, Belek, Kemer and Lara are all closer to Antalya. From Okurcalar and Avsallar westwards the difference between the two airports becomes small, so take whichever has the better flight.
