The route

From the airport the car takes the ring road around the north of Antalya rather than squeezing through the centre, then drops down towards the sea at the western end of the city. It is the same route as for Kemer, just stopping earlier.

Where the hotels are

Konyaaltı beach runs for about 7 km below the cliffs, with a seafront promenade, apartment hotels and city hotels behind it. Hotels near the eastern end are closer to the old town; those towards the western end, near the mountains, add a few minutes.

Tips for this transfer

Weekday traffic between 17:00 and 19:00 can add a good 15 to 20 minutes, and a fixed-price transfer takes the meter out of the equation. If you want to visit the old town, it is a short taxi or tram ride from the beach. See our Antalya city guide for the beach and the centre.
