The route

From the airport the car goes around Antalya, west past Kemer, then up over the hills to Kumluca and along the coast through Finike. The road between Finike and Demre runs along the sea and through greenhouses on the plain.

Where the hotels are

Few visitors stay in Demre town itself; most choose pensions in Üçağız or Kaleköy on the Kekova bay, 20–30 minutes further, or base themselves in Kaş, 45 minutes west.

Tips for this transfer

For Kaleköy you leave the car at Üçağız and continue by boat; tell your pension your arrival time so a boat can meet you. Book ahead, as taxis rarely want this distance.
