Finike, a small harbour town known for its oranges, is 125 km and about 2 hours 5 minutes from Antalya Airport. It is a quiet base for the ruins of Limyra and for trips on to Demre and Kekova.

The route

The car goes around Antalya and follows the D400 coastal road past Kemer and Tekirova. After that the road turns inland and climbs over the mountains, then comes down to the Lycian coast at Kumluca, with its greenhouses, and runs on to Finike.

Where the hotels are

Finike town is spread around its marina and a long beach, with simple hotels and pensions in and near the centre. The road continues west along the coast to Demre, about 25 minutes further.

Tips for this transfer

The mountain section has many bends and few overtaking chances, so the times above assume a steady pace without long stops.
