Taxi, private transfer or shuttle?
Taxi
Taxis from the airport queue outside arrivals and use the meter. Ask for the meter ("taksimetre") to be switched on. Card payment is possible in most but not all cars.
Pre-booked private transfer
A pre-booked private transfer costs about the same as a taxi for Lara and Belek and is usually cheaper for Side and Alanya. The driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name board, so there is no haggling at 2 am.
Shared shuttle
Shared shuttles are the cheapest option per person but wait for other flights and stop at several hotels. Allow 60–90 minutes extra.
Where is Antalya Airport?
Antalya Airport (IATA: AYT) lies 13 km east of the city centre, right on the D400 coastal road. Everything east of the airport (Lara, Belek, Side, Alanya) is reached without crossing the city; for Konyaaltı, Kemer and Tekirova the car drives through or around Antalya first, which is why Kemer takes an hour although it is only 55 km away.
Going to Fethiye, Ölüdeniz, Göcek, Dalyan, Kalkan or Kaş? Dalaman Airport is much closer: see our Dalaman Airport transfer guide.
There are two international terminals. Most charter and European scheduled flights use Terminal 1 or 2 depending on the airline; both have taxi ranks and meeting points directly outside arrivals. If you have booked a private transfer, the confirmation tells you which terminal exit to use.
Frequently asked questions
How far is Antalya Airport from Belek?
About 35 km east along the D400. The drive takes 30–40 minutes in normal traffic; the road is a dual carriageway almost all the way.
How much is a taxi from Antalya Airport to Belek?
Expect €35–50 on the meter in the daytime (2026). The night tariff from midnight to 6 am is roughly 50% higher. A pre-booked private transfer costs a similar €30–45 and the price is fixed in advance.
How long is the transfer from Antalya Airport to Side?
Around 65 km and 1 hour 10 minutes. Hotels in Çolaklı and Evrenseki are slightly closer, Kumköy and Manavgat slightly further.
How long does it take to get from Antalya Airport to Alanya?
Alanya is 125 km from the airport. Allow 2 to 2.5 hours. Shared shuttles that stop at hotels along the way can take 3 hours or more.
Is it cheaper to pre-book a transfer or take a taxi?
For Lara and Belek the two cost about the same. For Kemer, Side and Alanya a pre-booked private car is usually cheaper than the meter and the price cannot change on the day.
Is there a bus from Antalya Airport to the resorts?
Public buses (Antalya Ulaşım, routes 600 and 800) connect the airport with the city centre and bus station for around €1–2, but not directly with Belek, Side or Kemer. For those you change at the otogar (bus station) to an intercity bus or dolmuş, which adds 1–2 hours.
