Konaklı is a resort village about 12 km west of Alanya centre, some 110 km and 115 minutes from Antalya Airport. It is a quieter base than the city but close enough to reach Alanya by dolmuş in minutes.

The route

The car takes the D400 east the whole way: past Belek, Side and Manavgat, then along the coast through Okurcalar, Avsallar and İncekum into Konaklı. The road is good, but after Manavgat it passes through many small towns with traffic lights, so the last 50 km are the slowest.

Where the hotels are

Konaklı has a mix of mid-size hotels and apartments on both sides of the D400, with sand and shingle beaches and some rocky coves. Hotels on the sea side are reached directly from the main road; for apartments inland, send the driver a map pin and phone number.
