The route

The whole trip follows the D400 east: past Belek and Serik, over the Köprüçay river and on towards Manavgat. Just before Manavgat the car turns right for Side. Traffic is light except on summer Saturday afternoons, when the Manavgat stretch can add 15 minutes.

Where the hotels are

"Side" on a booking often means the wider area. Çolaklı and Evrenseki in the west are closest (about an hour), Kumköy and Side old town are in the middle, and Sorgun and Titreyengöl sit east of the old town towards Manavgat. The old town itself is car-free; drivers stop at the entrance car park.

Tips for this transfer

If your hotel is inside Side old town, have small bags or expect a short walk or a ride on the little shuttle train from the car park. Shared shuttles to Side typically stop at eight to fifteen hotels, so they can take two hours or more.
